Bunting

Bunting seems to be everywhere at the moment. You can't read a blog without it being featured in a picture or watch the news without hearing about an attempt to make the longest bunting.
So I thought to honour the bunting phase Britain seems to be going through, and inspired by this image and many others, I'm going to attempt to make my own bunting. We are having a family gathering soon and I'm determined to have bunting hanging from every corner!!!

She & Him

I know I’m probably way behind the times however I just can’t get enough of She & Him. I love Zooey Deschanel’s voice and the lyrics and guitar are just sooo cute!! I listened to Volume One over an over and have just purchased Volume Two from itunes, it was well worth the £8 I paid for it. One song in particular rings true at the moment ‘Gonna get along without you now’, I love it, it makes me want to learn the guitar!!

I also just love Zooey Deschanel an he fashion sense in general but that’s another blog for another time.

My Blog beginnings

Hello fellow bloggers. This is my 1st post on my 2nd blog (I deleted it and started afresh), so bare with me if it’s not up to normal blogging standards I’ll get there!! :o)

I have been following numerous different blogs for a while and have finally decide to fully plunge into the blogging world and start my own.

I anticipate this blog will be about things I love like taking photos, reading, fashion and knitting, however I also want somewhere to vent a little and also somewhere to meet like minded people from across the globe. I have recently split from my long term boyfriend and this blog is going to be part of my new more creative life.
